During my recent getaway to the charming All'Ombra Del Carrubo in Metaponto, I was struck by the generous hospitality of our hosts, who gracefully accommodated us despite the language barrier. The spacious apartment boasted air-conditioning and a pristine private bathroom, featuring delightful rainfall showerheads-a refreshing treat after a day of exploring. Breakfast was a delightful Italian affair, perfectly complemented by the tranquil surroundings of the pool and orchard. We were pleased to discover the property's convenient barbecue facilities, allowing us to revel in the Italian sunshine with a homemade meal. Ideal for those keen to explore, the central location made it easy to visit nearby gems like the Metaponto Archaeological Site and the stunning beaches. It was a brief stay, yet my companions and I left wishing we could've lingered longer in this lovely slice of Italy.
